Joan Cabenatabua, a 21-year-old student from the University of the South Pacific in Suva, Fiji, has spoken highly of China's consumer market during her second visit to the country, summing up her shopping experience in three keywords: affordable, accessible and high-quality.

A repeat visitor from Fiji, Joan says she has developed a fondness for Chinese products, with special praise for cosmetics such as lip gloss, which she describes as having a smooth texture and vibrant colors. During her recent trip, she also purchased body mists, lip care products, power banks and snacks, impressed by the wide variety, reliable quality and reasonable prices available across China.

She pointed out that many of these items are either expensive or hard to find back home, making shopping in China a uniquely satisfying experience. Whether browsing in physical stores or ordering online, she said, consumers can easily access a vast range of products with remarkable efficiency and convenience.

During the trip Joan also explored Chongli, where she saw snow for the first time, describing the experience as one of her most memorable moments. She also bought a heat-transfer printing machine to support her family's business venture in Fiji, along with tech products from leading Chinese brands such as Redmi, Huawei and DJI.

Joan commended China's advanced e-commerce infrastructure and highly efficient delivery services, which she said stand out in sharp contrast to those in Fiji. She voiced strong recommendations for people around the world to visit China and explore its dynamic shopping environment for themselves.
